Privacy Policy

This policy covers our Website, demo requests and private beta applications, and the account information we receive when you sign in to the Anko application with your Google account (see "Signing In to Anko with Google" below). It does not cover how we process data on behalf of customers using Anko — that is governed separately by the agreement signed with each customer.

Information We Collect

• Contact and application information. When you request a demo or apply for the beta, we collect your name, email address, company, job title, and any other information you choose to provide in our forms.
• Website usage data. Standard technical information collected automatically when you visit our site — IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring URLs — typically via cookies and similar technologies.
• Communications. If you email us, we retain that correspondence to respond to and track your inquiry.
• Account information. When you sign in to the Anko application, we collect the information described in "Signing In to Anko with Google" below.

How We Use This Information

• To evaluate and manage access to the Anko private beta
• To respond to demo requests and other inquiries
• To communicate with you about your application or our product
• To understand how visitors use our Website, so we can improve it
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information to train third-party AI models, and we do not sell your personal information.

Signing In to Anko with Google

You can create an Anko account or sign in to the Anko application using your Google account ("Sign in with Google"). Use of the Anko application is also covered by our Terms of Use.

What we receive from Google. When you choose Sign in with Google and approve the request, Google shares with us:

• your name
• your email address, and whether Google has verified it
• your Google account identifier (a unique ID Google assigns to your account)

We request only the basic sign-in permissions (OpenID, email, and profile). We do not receive your Google password. We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other data in your Google account. We do not receive or store your Google profile picture.

How we use it. We use this information only to:

• create your Anko account and sign you in
• recognize you when you return, including connecting Sign in with Google to an existing Anko account that uses the same verified email address
• display your name within the Anko application
• secure our service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations

We do not use information received from Google for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.

This section covers that account information. When you use Anko under an agreement between Anko and a customer, that agreement governs other data we process in the application on the customer's behalf.

Sharing. We do not share this information except with service providers that host and operate the Anko application on our behalf under obligations to protect it — Amazon Web Services, which hosts the application in the US East (N. Virginia) region and stores application logs in Amazon CloudWatch; Grafana, which we use to display those logs; and Gmail, which we use to deliver account-related email we send to you — or where required by law or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Google API Services User Data Policy. Anko's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Cookies. After you sign in, we set a session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is strictly necessary for the application to work. See our Cookie Policy.

Retention and deletion. We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. After you ask us to delete your account, we delete that information within 90 days. Application logs that may include this information are stored in Amazon CloudWatch and kept for up to 90 days. You can ask us to delete your account and associated information at any time by contacting us at swapnil@getanko.com.

Revoking access. You can stop Anko from using your Google account for sign-in at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access does not delete your Anko account; contact us to request deletion.

How We Share Information

We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Website, the beta program, and the Anko application, under obligations to protect it — for example:

• Google Forms, to process beta and demo applications
• Google Analytics, to understand Website traffic
• Amazon Web Services, which hosts the Anko application in the US East (N. Virginia) region and stores application logs in Amazon CloudWatch
• Grafana, to display those application logs
• Gmail, to deliver account-related email we send to you

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Data Retention

We retain beta application and demo request information for as long as needed to evaluate your application and communicate with you, or until you request deletion, whichever comes first.

Account information we receive when you sign in with Google is kept as described in "Signing In to Anko with Google" above.

Your Rights

Depending on where you're located, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

International Users

Anko is based in the United States. If you access our Website or the Anko application from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, including on Amazon Web Services in the US East (N. Virginia) region.

Children's Privacy

Our Website, beta program, and Anko application are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the revised version here with an updated effective date.
